How Tapicería Sacha dominates local search in Medellín
A years-old site, optimized with on-page SEO and a keyword strategy built from real competitor research, now shows up on page one for the searches that matter most.
The starting point
Tapicería Sacha's website (tapiceriasacha.com) was built roughly 4 years ago on WordPress. It's a furniture upholstery and restoration business based in Medellín, with years of experience in the craft — but like most local businesses, having a website isn't the same as showing up when someone in Medellín searches "tapizar muebles" on Google.
What we did
On top of that WordPress foundation, the work focused on two things:
On-page SEO across every page of the site — heading structure, metadata, content optimized for local search intent.
Keyword research based on an analysis of their actual competitors in Medellín, to pin down exactly which terms people use when searching for an upholstery service near them — not generic terms, but the ones their real customers type into Google.
The results
These are the real Google Search Console numbers for the last 16 months (March 2025 – July 2026), exactly as Google reports them. The site's average search position improved steadily: it started around position 16 and hit its best point in November 2025, at position 9.2. Since then it has held steady in the page-one range.

But the number that matters most is a different one: on its core commercial keywords — the terms that describe exactly what the business offers, in its city — Tapicería Sacha consistently ranks between position 4 and 6 on Google. That's page one, above the fold, for the searches that actually turn into real contact.
